Nutrient Cycling in Agroecosystems

A  Special Issue of ISCRAES 2020 will be published in Nutrient Cycling in Agroecosystems (IF: 2.85) as: Climate-Resilient Agri-Environmental Systems: A Holistic Approach to Mitigate Climate Change and Environmental Pressures’. This special issue seeks to combine creative and innovative ideas for testing and subsequent adoption of ways for attaining sustainability in agricultural production through a systems-based approach. This will take account of the need for coherent climate and environmental solutions, economically viable and socially acceptable options, and systems-based decision-support tools. Topics will cover climate change impacts, environmental degradation, GHG mitigation and sustainability issues for arable cropping systems, grassland systems and agro-silvo-pastoral systems.

Selected high quality papers presented at ISCRAES 2020 will be considered for publication. We welcome manuscripts that cover the symposium themes. A separate online submission tab will be created on the journal website on 01 April 2020. For further information, please consult the journal’s guidelines for authors(https://www.springer.com/journal/10705/updates/17484798). In case of a large number of submissions, either the special issues will be increased and/or another journal relevant to the symposium theme will be included.

Submission deadline of full papers: July 01, 2020.

If you are interested in contributing to this special issue, please contact Dr. Ibrahim Khalil (ibrahim.khalil@ucd.ie) or Prof. Bruce Osborne (bruce.osborne@ucd.ie).
